Acrylic Frame Post-it-note Holders

Here are some Post-it-note holders made using the inexpensive acrylic frames for 4x6 photos. The colors look washed out in the 2nd photo, I think it's time for a new scanner :-) So I took a picture but not sure that came out well either (the shiny frames caused a glare from the flash) but at least you get the idea.

The frame is actually upside down so the base props up the top of the holder (hope that makes sense).

Holiday cards from friends

I'm pitifully behind in so many ways but wanted to post some beautiful, handmade cards my friends sent me for Christmas (I'll post more as I have time). I'm also including one I made:

this is one of my holiday cards I sent out this year using my most favorite set, "Season of Joy" (it doesn't scan well but the cardstock is Shimmery White so it has just the right amount of sparkle :-)

Winter Bright Coaster albums

Here's a couple of mini albums made using the "Winter Bright" Simply Scrappin' Kit and 4" x 4" blank coasters. I get the coasters from http://www.americancoaster.com/ (1000 for about $35). I like to pop up the self-adhesive die-cuts so I add the Stampin' Dimensionals to the sticky back, leave the backing on the dimensionals while I pounce the "Embossing Buddy" all over the sticky part still showing on the die-cut. Then I brush off the excess powder, remove the backing to the dimensionals and layer it to the pages. I used the "Crop-a-dile" to punch the holes through the chipboard and the "Sanding Blocks" to smooth out the edges of the cardstock once it's applied to the coasters. They turned out cute, huh?
