Pictures of Muni

Muni is our cat that we found at a local golf course when she was about 6 weeks old (she's named after the course - San Jose Municipal :-). She's a couple of years old now and loves to find funny places to settle in.

There's no way this is comfortable but she's laying on a bunch of memo cubes.
This is behind the computer monitor on my desk. I put a flannel sheet down so she's not laying directly on all the cords :-)

We played Yahtzee over the holidays and she took over the empty box :-)

Napping behind my Big Shot

I had just pulled out the box of photos and she saw her chance for a nice and clean and empty spot to lay in.

"Love You Much" Valentine Class

Here are some projects for my Valentine Class at the end of January.

This card was cased from Jodie at http://stampwithjodie.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/12/valentines-bundle.html .

I sure hope the Season of Friendship set makes it into the next catalog - it's one of my favorites :-)

Stamps: Season of Friendship, Love You Much
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Basic Brown
Paper: Candy Lane DSP, Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Riding Hood Red Taffeta ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Blender Pen

I found the directions for this "One Sheet Box" at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/one_sheet_box/
I stamped little hearts on the ribbon, cute huh?

This is a little slider box that holds 3 Hershey's Nuggets inside. The nuggets have Candy Lane DSP wrapped around them too :-) Directions can be found at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/nugget_boxes/

This is a little Hershey Bar Pull Treat, directions can be found at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/pull_treats/

This card was cased with slight changes from Nikki Bond whose original design can be seen at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1168477?cat=15538.

Here's a simple little 3 x 3 box - perfect size for a little gift or some more candy :-)

Acetate Pillow Boxes

Here are some little favors for my downline that are coming to our holiday party tomorrow. It's a little tricky folding on the score lines with acetate but I really liked the look of the clear gift boxes I've seen posted online.

Frosty "Top Note" Gift Bag

This idea was shared by my SAM - the original artist is Carol Payne (If anyone knows of her blog, let me know and I'll add the link :-). Of course the snowman is made using the Top Note Sizzix die - I just cut the white and black ones in half and glued them to the bag (there's actually a little gap between them that's hidden with the hat trim). The hat trim measures 1" x 4 1/4" and has paper-piercing around the edges. The eyes are from the buttons die, and the flower and leaves from the Birds and Blooms dies. The nose and the leaves are run through the crimper and the smile are dots punched with the 1/4" circle punch.

The Riding Hood Red Striped ribbon is attached with a black brad on the sides (the ribbon is folded under for a cleaner look). Isn't he just the cutest thing? Oh, I found the bags at Target, 16 for $3 or so, and I trimmed them down to 5" tall.

"U R Sweet" flip album

Here's another Flip Album - this one using the "U R Sweet" Simply Scrappin' Kit. The Flip Album was originally created by Amy Celona whose sample and directions can be seen here: http://ustamp4fun.com/ProjectGallery/flipbk.htm

Holiday Treasures Clipboard

Here's a couple of clipboards using the Holiday Treasures Designer Series paper and Felt Snowflakes (from the Holiday Mini catalog). I used craft ink (Old Olive and Ruby Red) to color the clipboards, front and back. None of the papers are glued down but the brads on the bottom row of snowflakes go all the way through the clipboard to hold down. The snowflakes at the top are glued on with Dimensionals.
