Cottage Crafts Make-n-take

Here's the make-n-take for tomorrow at Cottage Crafts in San Jose:

(I couldn't resist making another one using Very Vanilla cardstock and Pearls :-)

Customers can choose the Vanilla one with Pearls or the White one with Rhinestones.

punch organization, tiny improvement :-)

I would love to be one of those people whose home is always neat, organized, with a place for everything and everything in it's place. But I'm not. I like to think one day I can be but it's probably better if I just accept that it's OK that I'm not and be thankful my husband doesn't really care :-)

Anyway, I did manage to organize my new-style punches :-) Previously, they were lined up on a lower shelf and not at a comfortable height for easy access. I had this little cubby type shelf on my work table and realized it was just being used to hold junk. So I cleared out the junk and moved it to sit on another shelf. This way, I can easily get to them and visually, they are at a better height. It's such a tiny improvement in my craft room (no way are you seeing the rest of the clutter!) but I'm hoping it will spread :-)

make-n-take for a new hostess :-)

I have a workshop today with a new hostess (Hi Denice! :-) and thought this would be a fun make-n-take:

I was so happy to find the sample online from Jen Sannes (her original can be seen at http://www.simpleandsincere.com/2011/07/ftl-150-fabulous-florets.html). I only changed the greeting and added some rhinestones. This card makes me happy - hope it makes my hostess and guests happy too :-)

I'm volunteering at our local Ronald McDonald House today with a few other demonstrators and here's my project:
